Synopsis of Zatoichi Meets The One-Armed Swordsman

The film tells the story of a one-armed swordsman who just went to Japan to visit friends, met a Chinese orphan on the way, and got acquainted with Zatoichi. There were many jokes between the two due to the language barrier. In the end, they had to fight for their lives due to a misunderstanding. The blind Zatoichi is famous for his lightning-fast sword drawing skills, while the one-armed hero Wang Gang fights with his unique golden sword skills and light kung fu. Finally, the misunderstanding was eliminated, and Wang Gang couldn't help but sigh, "You are a good person, if words can make sense..." Interestingly, in order to take into account the emotions of both fans, there were two versions of the film when it was released. The Japanese version was called "The Blind Man Breaks the Sword of the Tang Dynasty" and ended with Zatoichi killing Wang Gang, while the Hong Kong version was called " "The One-Armed Sword vs. the Blind Man" ended with the one-armed sword defeating the blind man.
