Synopsis of The Vast of Night

The story takes place in 1950s New Mexico, where a young switchboard operator and radio DJ discover a strange frequency that could change their lives, their town, and the entire planet forever. "The Promise of Night" falls down the rabbit hole of "The Twilight Zone" through dropped phones, AM radio signals, secret tape reels forgotten in the library, switches, crossed patch cords and an anonymous phone call. He carefully weaves together a searching story of a missing person. "The Promise of the Night" takes the audience into an era and a small town far away from the outside world through confusing tracking shots, fast dialogues and perfect era terminology. Its mystery is only presented to those who are curious and patient enough to listen.
