Synopsis of Escape from New York

In 1988, in response to the doubling crime growth rate, the federal government transformed Manhattan Island into a huge prison, in which prisoners were thrown to fend for themselves, and New York City became a crime city. In the blink of an eye, it was 1997. The US Air Force One, code-named "David 14", was hijacked by the National Liberation Front and finally crashed in the prison city. The President of the United States was trapped alone in the city. Former Air Force hero and meritorious special team member Lieutenant Colonel Princeton (played by Kurt Russell) was imprisoned for robbing a bank. The government decided to use Princeken to sneak into the prison city and rescue the president. Principe's mission only lasted for twenty-four hours. He found his former comrades in the city and was now a subordinate of the "Duke", the underground ruler of the prison. They cooperated to rescue the president, but they had to face the dangers everywhere. Crazy prisoner...
