Synopsis of Magnificent Presence

The young man Pietro (Elio Germano) came to Rome to become a bread baker. He fantasized about being an actor and often went to various auditions, but never succeeded. Because the landlord hid the fact that the rented house was haunted from him, Pietro was completely frightened when ghosts dressed in opera costumes appeared. Fortunately these ghosts are not malicious; they are the victims of a mysterious fire at the Opera House during World War II. They asked Pietro to find out the truth and fulfill their unfulfilled wishes... This film is the latest black comedy from the famous Italian gay director Ferson Ozpat. His "The Turkish Bath", "His Secret Life" and "Love" are all critically acclaimed and blockbuster films, and have been shortlisted for many international film festivals such as Cannes and Berlin. "Dressed Up" won the 2012 Italian Golden Globe Award for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress, and was shortlisted for the National Association of Film Journalists Silver Ribbon Award, known as the "Italian Oscar".
