Synopsis of Reds

In the early 1920s, the famous American journalist John Read, who was keen on communism, tried his best to go to Soviet Russia after the October Revolution to experience life and pursue an ideal political country. He wrote the world-sensing reportage "Ten Times That Shocked the World" sky". However, he eventually became completely disillusioned with communism and returned to the free world. Movie Summary: Act One: Red and Lois Bryant meet in Portland. Act II: Intellectual life in Greenwich Village in the 1910s. Red and Louise were drawn to thinkers such as Eugene O'Neill and Emma Goldman. Act III: Red and Louise come to terms with the impact of the Russian Revolution. Act 4: Red attempts to establish the Communist Party in the United States. Act 5: Red comes to Russia to receive help from the Bolsheviks to promote socialism. Red died in 1920 at the age of 32. The five parts are full of messy quarrels. In other words, it is difficult to arouse enough interest in this period of history. In the first part, the audience has to tolerate a long period of flattering induction. After that, there is a strange love between Red and Louise: as they stare at each other, with the climax of revolution and eighty years of vulgarity...
