Synopsis of Floating
The film was shot and produced by director Greg Jardin over a year, and was shortlisted for the Best Short Film Competition at the 20th Los Angeles Film Festival. It tells the touching story of a lonely balloon man who bravely pursues his significant other. The film shows love, friendship, family and other scenes one by one, and is in sharp contrast with the lonely figure of the balloon man. The film is easily reminiscent of the vibrant red balloon in Lamorisse's classic philosophical film "Red Balloon".
