Synopsis of Bears

Another masterpiece launched by Disneynature, a subsidiary of Disney Company that specializes in nature documentaries. The film follows the life of a brown bear family as the four seasons change. In Alaska, where the ice and snow are just beginning to melt, a brown bear family wakes up from hibernation and walks out of their cave to face the severe cold. The two newly born cubs learn many survival skills under the guidance of their parents. From spring to summer, brown bears struggle to hunt salmon and must deal with attacks from hostile male bears and predators. At the same time, the ubiquitous wolves also represent a deadly threat. "Brown Bear in Alaska" captures the dynamics of life and the suspense of survival in wild Alaska. The dignity, cruelty and magnificence of that life are breathtaking. The film is narrated by the famous Hollywood comedy star John C. Reilly.
