Synopsis of Juan of the Dead
In the socialist country of Cuba, Juan (Alexis Díaz de Villegas), a middle-aged man living at the bottom of society, has achieved nothing. He divorced his wife, and his daughter Camila (Andrea Duro) does not take him seriously. Juan hangs out with his two bereaved friends Lazaro (Jorge Molina) and California (Andros Perugorría) all day long, with no hope for the future. One day, the peaceful city was suddenly filled with panic. An inexplicable zombie virus spread wantonly, and all infected humans turned into bloodthirsty zombies. While people were panicking and eager to flee the city, Juan figured out a way to make money. He called together friends and other citizens to form a small company, specifically responsible for helping normal people who couldn't bear to have their loved ones turned into zombies. His career is booming, and his relationship with his daughter is gradually improving...
