The Draughtsman's Contract

The Draughtsman's Contract

Synopsis of The Draughtsman's Contract

The story takes place in England in 1694. The wealthy Mrs. Habot (played by Janet Suzman) hired the talented painter Neville (played by Anthony Higgins). According to the contract, the latter needed to paint Haobot's paintings. Twelve paintings were completed at Compton Anns Manor, where Mrs. Turtle lived. During this period, an incestuous relationship developed between Neville and Mrs. Howbot. Talman (Hugh Fraser) is Mrs. Habot's son-in-law. He has always hoped to get the magnificent Compton Anns Manor. However, his wife Mrs. Talman (Ann Louise Lambert) Anne-Louise Lambert) has no heirs, which makes Talman regard Neville, who is running rampant in the manor, as a thorn in his side. Soon, Mrs. Talman's name was added to Neville's list of lovers. What he didn't know at this time was that he had fallen into a long-planned conspiracy.
