# Synopsis of Ripples of Desire

More than three hundred years ago, there was an "Exile Island" on the southeast coast where criminals were exiled for generations. In addition to making a legitimate living, the residents of the island also worked as pirates to counter threats from the government and all parties. Houlu recruited people as bait, but Haiye flatly refused. People of all kinds come and go frequently on the island, and a bright flower street gives the adventurous and wandering men the tenderness of life and death; the "Zhongyuan Festival" is an annual event on the island. In the Zhongyuan Festival, the most eye-catching thing is the "geisha sacrifice ghosts" who comfort the deceased with their singing. Yueniang (played by Sandra Ng), the madam of Huayang Tower, trained twin artists with very different personalities: Xiaoxue (played by Michelle Chen) and Xiaoshuang (played by Chen Yihan), and they became famous with the "Huayang Double Company". The two sisters did not hesitate to commit murder because of a secret unknown to outsiders! Next to son-in-law Li Ershao (played by Mao Zijun). Li Ershao was hesitant between Xiao Shuang and his first wife Zhen Furong (played by Li Xiaoran).
