Synopsis of Radio Days

In the voice-over, a middle-aged man takes the audience back to the small town of Logway where he lived as a child, where there are too many interesting stories surrounding radio broadcasts... Two thieves sneaked into a house to commit crimes, and it happened that there was a phone contest on the radio. This place was chosen for the quiz show, and the thief answered all the questions correctly. When the man returned home the next day, he found that his money and belongings were missing, but the prizes from the quiz show were piled at the door. When Aunt Bi was on a blind date with someone else, news came over the radio that Martians were attacking the earth, and the other party abandoned her and fled. Radio star Roger is entangled with a nightclub girl, Sally (Mia Farrow). Sally did not get the job opportunity in broadcasting as she wished but showed her talents in the wartime program. The continuous broadcasts of the Masked Ranger attracted countless teenagers, but the protagonist was never able to get a Ranger ring... During the New Year's broadcast in 1944, the memories of all these classic eras came to an end. The film won the 1988 British Academy Film Awards for Best Costume and Best Art Design.
