Synopsis of Prison on Fire II

In the sequel to "Prison Story", senior prisoner Ah Zheng (played by Chow Yun-fat) had his sentence extended due to a dispute with his former section chief (played by Zhang Yaoyang). During his sentence, his mother died of illness, and his son Liangzi was sent to an orphanage and even resented his father. Ah Zheng wholeheartedly wanted to apply to go out to visit his son, but he encountered many difficulties from the early warning leader "Ghost Jian Chou" (played by Xu Jinjiang). Because Gui Jianchou failed to bribe Daquanlong (played by Chen Songyong), the leader of the mainland gang in prison, he regarded him as a thorn in his side, and instigated from him to create a gap between the mainland gang and Azheng. A frame-up forced Daquanlong to flee. Azheng, who was misunderstood to frame Daquanlong, was also forced to escape. During the escape, the two met and developed a friendship like "brothers in need". In the end, Ah Zheng was arrested and taken back to prison. During the riot, Ah Zheng finally got the opportunity to go hand-to-hand with "Gui Jianchou".
