Synopsis of ALONE

"An Le" is one of the public welfare short films of the Discovery Charity·Red Project (2016) jointly participated by seven new generation Chinese directors. The theme of focus is "hospice care". Lao Yin, who suffers from hemiplegia, has lived in a nursing home called "Anle" for many years, and his daily life is taken care of by the nurse Xiao Ma. The young pony only regarded taking care of the elderly as a job and did not invest too much emotion in it. Lao Yin's family members were also busy with work and only occasionally came to visit him briefly. The one who really keeps company with Lao Yin is actually his roommate Lao Wang in the nursing home. At the same time, A Cai, the janitor of the nursing home, has a crush on Xiao Ma but dare not speak. It wasn't until Lao Wang's sudden death one day that Lao Yin, Xiao Ma and A Cai experienced subtle psychological changes...
