Synopsis of A Good Rain Knows

Dong Ha (played by Zheng Yucheng), a young and handsome boy from South Korea, came to Chengdu, Sichuan, China on a business trip. His good friends received him at the airport. The two made an appointment to meet at Du Fu's Thatched Cottage. However, Dong He came here to visit his Chinese classmate May (played by Gao Yuanyuan), who is currently working as a tour guide in a travel agency. This encounter caused the two people's hearts to collide with the spark of love again. They recalled the vows at the birthday party, the affectionate gestures to each other, and even the nostalgia for bicycles, but the two gave different versions. They met on a rainy night and tasted Chinese dishes together. However, when he took the initiative to confess his love to her, she dodged him. Due to company arrangements, Dong Ha has to leave China. In the rain, he held her hand and danced, but the atmosphere seemed so quiet that he began to suspect that he was in love. However, an airport farewell made the two open their hearts again... This film, also known as "Chengdu, I Love You" (Part 1), is directed by the famous Korean director Heo Chin-ho, who has directed "August Photo Studio" and "Spring Dies".
