# Synopsis of Xiaobing Zhang Ga

The story takes place in the Baiyangdian area during the Anti-Japanese War. Ga Zi (played by Xie Mengwei) dreams of joining the Eighth Route Army. Since his grandma (played by Huang Suying) was killed by the Japanese while protecting old Uncle Zhong (played by Du Yuan), Ga Zi went to the city alone to look for the reconnaissance hero Luo Jinbao (played by Jin Hong). After joining the army, he cooperated with the district team in a "curtain challenge." He ran away in anger because of violating discipline, and later returned to the county town with Pang Dun (played by Du Yu) and other friends. He wanted to avenge his grandmother alone. Our special correspondent Liu Yan (played by Qian Duoduo) was ambushed and separated, and was later rescued by a fisherman girl Yuying (played by Wang Shasha).
