Synopsis of Yves Saint Laurent Biography

In Paris in 1957, the famous fashion designer Christian Dior died suddenly of a heart attack, leaving behind a crumbling Dior brand. Dior's apprentice, 21-year-old Yves Saint Laurent (Pierre Ninet), was appointed at a critical moment and became Dior's youngest chief costume designer. His solo debut "Trapeze" was a blockbuster hit, drawing the world's attention to his existence, and also led to his meeting with Pierre Bergé (Guillome Gallini). They were both lovers and business partners. In 1962, they founded YSL, a luxury brand that later dominated the fashion industry.
