Synopsis of The Shaolin Plot

Story summary: In order to dominate the martial arts world, Prince Dagulun (Chen Xing) of the Qing Dynasty sent various masters (one of them played by Sammo Hung) to snatch martial arts secrets everywhere. Da Gulun first ordered King Jinbo (played by Sammo Hung) to seize the "Daji Liangyi Sword Manual" of the Kunlun School. The leader Gu Zhenfeng refused to obey and tried to seize it. He was defeated and died. His son Xiaohu ran away with the sword manual. Xiaohu met Master Puhui by chance (a super master, so powerful), and with his help, King Jinbo and his gang were beaten to pieces. However, Jinshi blinded Puhui and the sword manual was taken away. Jin then went to Dafeng Hall to obtain the "Biography of the Wudang Sect", but Hall Master Yang was defeated and died in the battle. Empress Jin went to the Shaolin Temple, pretending to pass on the imperial edict, but failed to seize the secret book. After Puhui lost her sight, she taught Xiaohu martial arts on the mountain, hoping that he would continue to control the Kunlun Sect and unite various sects to fight against the Qing Dynasty. Da Gulun pretended to be a monk and went to the Shaolin Temple in person, resorting to cruel tactics and sneaking into the Sutra Pavilion every night to secretly learn the secrets. Jin Ze chased Pu Hui, and Da threatened Pu Fa and the abbot to hand over the Three Treasures of Shaolin. The eminent monk Xiaolin led Jianglong, Fuhu and the Six Arhats to kill Da and rescue the abbot. Xiaohu also regained the sword manual and regained control of the Kunlun Sect.
