Synopsis of One Missed Call

The young girl Beth Raymond (played by Shannyn Sossamon) is experiencing the most terrifying moment in her life. Her two friends, Shelly (Meagan Good) and Lynne (Azura Skye), suffered misfortunes and died mysteriously within just a few days. What is even more horrifying is that they all received voice text messages from their mobile phones a few days before their deaths. The text messages not only announced the date of death, but also recorded their frightened and desperate calls. In the following days, Beth witnessed the deaths of several other friends, and a gloomy and solemn atmosphere spread among them. Police officer Jack (Edward Burns) was ordered to investigate the case. Unlike other police detectives, he firmly believed in Beth's description, because Jack's sister was the first victim of this series of bizarre events.
