Synopsis of The Age of Awakening

This play runs from the publication of "Youth Magazine" in 1915 to 1921 when "New Youth" became an official publication of the Communist Party of China. It shows the magnificent historical picture from the New Culture Movement to the establishment of the Communist Party of China and tells the various aspects of life in the awakening era. The play uses the legendary stories of Li Dazhao, Chen Duxiu, and Hu Shi from acquaintance, acquaintance, and separation as the basic narrative line, and uses the bumpy experiences of Mao Zedong, Chen Yannian, Chen Qiaonian, Deng Zhongxia, Zhao Shiyan and other revolutionary young people in pursuing the truth as the auxiliary line.
