Synopsis of The Objective

November 2001, Ghazni Province, Afghanistan. A special forces team from the United States meets CIA agent Benjamin Keynes (Jonas Ball) here, where they are looking for a man named Mohammed Abban. Under the guidance of informant Abel (Chems-Eddine Zinoune), they came to the mountainous area where Mohammed was said to be hiding. There are horrific legends circulating here. More than half a century ago, a British army of tens of thousands disappeared out of thin air here. From the moment the special forces team stepped into this unfamiliar territory, horrific and bizarre events followed them. Team members disappeared one after another, and they seemed to have entered a road of no return leading to a dark world... The film won the 2008 New York Horror Film Festival Audience Award for Best Cinematography and the 2008 Santa Fe Film Festival Milagro Award for Best Cinematography.
