Synopsis of Hinglish

Shashi (played by Sridevi) is an Indian housewife who likes to play Ladu. Because she takes taking care of her family as the center of her life all day long, she is somewhat out of touch with the times. Shahi, who did not understand English, was ridiculed by her husband and daughter in her life. The decrease in common topics with her family made her feel the existence of a crisis. By chance, relatives in the United States invited Shaxi to help them with wedding arrangements. In order to improve communication with her family and win their respect and attention, Shashi decided to sign up for an English training class in New York for four weeks to overcome her language barrier. In this training class, Shaxi also bid farewell to her previous quiet life and met all kinds of friends. For the common goal of learning English well, everyone encouraged each other and made progress together. Hard work paid off, and Shashi, who studied English day and night, went from having zero basic knowledge to shining brightly at the wedding banquet.
