Synopsis of A Plumm Summer
This is Montana in the 1960s, and the Plummer family lives in a small town called "Peaks View." It has beautiful mountains and rivers, and is home to kind and honest people, as well as the well-known "Froggy Doo" - a marionette who can tell wisecracks. It is a children's program hosted by Happy Herb (played by Henry Winkler) and appears on local TV channels every afternoon. Children in the town all love "Mr. Do", except for Elliott (Chris J. Kelly) of the Plummer family, who grew up watching the "Mr. Do" program. He is already 13 years old. At this rebellious age, nothing is worthy of his trust. Of course, this will lead to a tense relationship between Elliot and his 5-year-old brother Rocky (Owen Pierce), because Rocky, who loves "Mr. Do" the most, believes everything the frog "says". In fact, for Elliott, the deepest feeling is the sadness of his family: his father, Mick Plummer (played by William Baldwin), was once a well-known boxer, but he lost his chance to participate in the Olympics due to an accident 12 years ago.
