Synopsis of The Men Who Stare at Goats

Bob Wilden (Ewan McGregor) is an American journalist whose marriage failed. He came to the Middle East in desperation, trying to sneak into Iraq to conduct battlefield news reporting in order to win back the heart of his ex-wife. In Kuwait, Bob met Lynn Cassady (played by George Clooney), a private builder whom he had heard of in previous interviews, and begged the latter to take him across the border. Lynn was a special soldier of the U.S. Army's "Earth Spirit Force". He sought "Jedi superpowers" under the special training methods of Vietnam War veteran hippie Bill Diongo (played by James Bridges), using his spiritual thoughts to Defeat the enemy; until the joining of soldier Larry Hopper (played by Kevin Spacey) changed the training policy of the "Earth Spirit Force". Bob followed Lynn and experienced a series of ridiculous accidents and events in Iraq. Does Lynn really have "Jedi superpowers"?
