Synopsis of Philosophy of a Knife

In the first half of the 20th century, the shadow of war shrouded the world and never receded. The value of life is getting lower and lower, and all living beings are forced to become victims and experiments of interest groups. In a corner of East Asia, Japan has continued to grow since the Meiji Restoration, and its ambitions for outward expansion have also continued to expand. Several victories in the war against Russia have made this nation become more and more fanatical. However, as the scale of the war expanded, resource shortages became the primary problem limiting the continued expansion of the Japanese army. Scientists from Germany, the Soviet Union and other countries continued to develop biochemical weapons. Army Lieutenant General Shiro Ishii followed suit and proposed the establishment of a biochemical force, which became the infamous Manchuria Unit 731. During the Anti-Japanese War, this devil force conducted countless inhumane experiments on prisoners of war and local people. To this day, the ghost's wailing still echoes over Manchuria... This film is produced using plot and documentary techniques, and the material comes from the former Soviet military translator Anatoliy Protasov. The film was investigated by the Russian Federal Security Service on the eve of its release.
