Synopsis of The Gorgon

Paul (Richard Pasco)'s father and brother died in a foreign country. Paul, who wanted to uncover the truth, came to the town where they lived to investigate. All the residents in this small town gave Paul a very strange feeling. They were trembling obsessively, as if there was something terrifying hiding in the dark night that would come out and kill them at any time. Dr. Namalo (Peter Cushing) used to be his father's assistant. The strange whereabouts of this man and a mysterious beauty Carla (Barbara Shelley) attracted Paul's attention. Carla seems to be suffering from a strange disease, often fainting and losing her memory, and Dr. Namalo obviously has a soft spot for Carla and assumes the identity of her protector. So, does the death of his father and brother have anything to do with these two people?
