Synopsis of City of God

The slums of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, are the "City of God" and a place where even the devil would sigh and turn around. A Pao (played by Alexandre Rodrigues) took us here. He witnessed the chaotic life here for more than two decades that was wrapped up in cruelty, greed, revenge, ambition, betrayal, and plunder, and ultimately led to a disastrous gang war.
