Synopsis of Masterminds

The film is adapted from real events. David, played by Zach, is a simple man with a dull life. He is a cash truck driver. Although he transports countless amounts of money every day, it is other people's money. The only thing that makes him happy is meeting his beautiful female colleague Kelly (Kristen Wiig), and it is Kelly who involves him in a life-changing event. Although he was working with a group of super unreliable robbers, led by the super unreliable Steve (Owen Wilson), and the robbery plan was full of loopholes, David really completed the impossible task. $17 million in cash was stolen. The only problem is, he handed the money to this group of robbers who had their own agenda, betrayed each other, and stabbed each other in the back, and he became the designated scapegoat. Now a fugitive, David must evade capture, escape from the gunpoint of a gleeful killer (Jason Sudeikis), and find ways to make the people who framed him pay the price they deserve.
