Synopsis of Lord of Illusions

Scott Bakula, the lead actor in the TV series "Outlander," plays Harry, a private detective with paranormal abilities. He came to Los Angeles from New York to handle a case, and unknowingly fell into a dark and eerie trap. Harry accidentally met the magical magician Philip and his beloved wife Dorothy. Soon Philip was killed while performing on stage, but Harry couldn't help but fall in love with Dorothy. As Harry investigates the case in-depth, he discovers that the magic tricks performed by Philip were all exchanged with the demon Nix, and these are all deceptive tricks. Only the transfer magic is real. The situation forces Harry to We must fight to the death with the evil forces. Writer-director Clive Barker adapted his own original spooky thriller. He handled the atmosphere well and still produced attractive visual effects despite a somewhat thin plot. It is a successful attempt at alienating detective novels.
