Synopsis of Slash

Neil is a high school boy who was born in a single-parent family. He has a special liking for the sci-fi anime hero Venger. Due to his introverted nature, he has no friends in the class and is not recognized by his family. Until Neil meets Julia, who has a similar temperament and a strong personality, the two hit it off! Encouraged by Julia, Neil plucked up the courage to contribute to a well-known website, which immediately attracted the attention of website moderator Dennis. His appearance greatly expanded Neil's horizons, but also impacted the friendship between the two high school students. Director Clay Reifer depicts the generation gap between teachers and students, the confusion of teenagers, and even the exploration of sexuality in a fresh and bright way. The realistic animation scenes in the movie are intertwined with the plot, fully demonstrating Clayover's world view.
