Synopsis of The Den

The young woman Elizabeth Benton (Melanie Papalia) is applying for projects and funds to conduct human behavior research on the Internet chat software theDEN. She is trying to chat with netizens around the world, hoping to investigate their online habits and interest. The virtual network gives people a space to release themselves and their desires, and the camera satisfies their desire for catharsis and voyeurism. Browsing the Internet, people from all over the world are showing off their witty, ugly, and sinful sides. On this day, Elizabeth accidentally chatted with a girl with a still profile picture, and then witnessed the other party being brutally murdered. The frightened Elizabeth quickly called the police, but the police were noncommittal. Her boyfriend Damian (David Schlachtenhaufen) also believed that the video was faked. Until one day, Damian suddenly disappeared, and her friends were also involved in a series of horrific incidents. The Internet allows the flower of evil to bloom in the wind...
