Synopsis of The Innkeepers

Claire (played by Sara Paxton) and Luke (played by Pat Healy) are clerks at a Yankee Inn (Yankee Pedlar) with a long history. During the endless nights, the two made jokes and chatted about the world. Handle all kinds of guests by the way. The hotel is known to be haunted, and legend has it that a bride named Madeleine O'Malley hanged herself on the day of her wedding at the hotel. The shop owner was afraid of affecting his business, so he secretly hid the body for three days. After the incident, the owner aroused public outrage, and rumors of haunting spread like wildfire. Claire and Luke set up a camera to record the supernatural scenes in the hotel, and tried to discover the true identity of the ghost. This bad decision brought them into eternal danger... The film won the 2011 Screamfest Best Soundtrack Award and the 2011 Toronto Midnight Film Festival Special Award for Audience Choice Scariest Film.
