Synopsis of Paranormal Activity

Freelancer Mick (Micah Sloat) and his girlfriend Katie (Katie Featherston) moved to a new house. Excited Mick bought a camera to follow and film the two of them every step of the way. . However, their excitement was soon replaced by inexplicable uneasiness. Apart from the two of them, there seemed to be other lives hiding in this empty house. At two or three o'clock in the morning, the camera in the corner of the bedroom truly recorded those unusual events. As time goes by, the supernatural incidents intensify. Katie can't bear it and wants to move away, but Mick is excited to make this incident into a movie. He didn't know that when he really wanted to leave, it was too late... This film is director Oren Peli's debut film. It cost only US$11,000, but it earned a thousand times the profit due to word of mouth. It was awarded an honorable mention at the 2007 Scream Film Festival.
