Synopsis of The Tall T

Pat Brennan lost his beloved horse in a bet. This time he drove a rented public carriage, carrying a newlywed couple, the groom Willard and the bride Doretta Mims. On the next leg of their journey, they fell into the hands of a gang of gangsters headed by Usher. When the gangster leader Usher learned that his bride Doretta was the daughter of a wealthy businessman who ran a copper mine, he decided to extort a large amount of money. The 24 hours as the gangsters wait for the ransom to arrive are tense and exciting, but a subtle romantic relationship develops between Brennan and the bride Dortta...
