Synopsis of The Contract

Zhiwen (played by Xu Guanwen) is a walk-on on a television station. He thinks he is very talented, so he has been depressed. Zhiwen's younger brother Zhixin (played by Xu Guanying) is a genius inventor. He recently invented a laughing machine that can make people laugh endlessly. Just when Zhiwen was muddling along, another TV station invited him to be a guest host. Zhiwen was confident and brought his brother's new invention to the party. Zhiwen's hard performance and the power of the laugh machine made everyone present laugh. Unexpectedly, the effect of the program exceeded expectations. Therefore, the TV station promised Zhiwen a high salary to recruit him. Zhiwen also wanted to leave, but he had no choice but to sign an eight-year contract of sale with his original TV station. If he broke the contract, he would have to pay huge compensation. One night, the two brothers sneaked into the vault of the television station and tried to steal the deed of betrayal...
