Synopsis of After Him

Bookseller Camille (Catherine Deneuve) and her husband Francis (Guy Marchand) are divorced, and they raise a pair of children respectively. One night, his son Madzol (played by Adrien Jolivet) went out to play with his friend Frank (Thomas Dumerchez). The car driven by Frank crashed into a tree, causing Madzol to be seriously injured and killed. After losing her beloved son, Camille lost her focus in life. She slowly transferred her affection to Frank, helping him prepare for exams, providing part-time jobs, and attending rock concerts with him... However, they still had this feeling in their hearts. A knot of heart that is painful and difficult to resolve. Another night, Camille and Frank came to the scene of a car accident and set fire to the tree where the car hit. Soon Frank disappeared from Camille's life due to arson, and the haggard woman once again lost her support...
