Synopsis of The Exorcist

In an ordinary apartment in the gloomy city of Washington, single mother Chrissy (Ellen Burstyn) and her daughter Regan live here. However, recently, Chris has been tormented by her daughter's various weird behaviors. Regan's behavior was strange and unusual. Chris took her to seek medical advice, but found nothing, and even the psychiatrist was helpless. In desperation, the almost desperate mother turns to Father Morin (Max von Sydow), an old man with rich experience in exorcism. On a terrifying night, the priest and the demon hiding in the girl's body started a series of battles. This is a devilish night that is destined to be unforgettable by countless people... The film was adapted from a novel written by William Batty based on a real exorcism incident in 1949. It won the Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing and Best Adapted Screenplay.
