Synopsis of My Talks with Dean Spanley
The movie takes place in Edwardian England. Old Fisk (Peter O'Toole) is an eccentric old man. His youngest son died in the war, and his wife also died soon due to grief. The dying old man Fisk seems to have no feelings or care for his eldest son (Jeremy Northam). However, when they went to listen to an Indian's lecture on soul reincarnation on a seemingly ordinary Thursday and met Dean Spanley, they experienced a strange journey and finally opened up the old man's heart.
