Synopsis of Mr. Six

In Beijing dialect, Lao Pao'er refers specifically to an old gangster who walks around with birds in a cage and has nothing to do. Mr. Liu (played by Feng Xiaogang) was once one of the old gangsters who "run rampant" in old Beijing. Now he lives a leisurely and contented life, but he does not want his son Xiaobo (played by Li Yifeng) to be involved in the relationship with "Master". Fei (Wu Yifan) is involved in a dispute. Master Liu tried to resolve the dispute and enlisted the help of his old friends Mensan'er (Zhang Hanyu), Huaxiazi (Xu Qing), and Dengshao'er (Liu Hua), but found that there was already a group of new "people" in this era. "Talker", his status as a stubborn leader in the world has been shaken, and the old way of life has been gradually abandoned by the times. Can Lian Po still survive at this old age?
