Synopsis of Margot at the Wedding

Margot (Nicole Kidman) takes her son to attend the wedding of her sister Pauline (Jennifer Jason Leigh). Margot and Pauline have different personalities, and the relationship between the two sisters has never been very good, but she is still willing to attend her sister's wedding. When Margot saw her future brother-in-law Malcolm (played by Jack Black), she knew that her guess was correct. She knew that this unemployed homeless man was not worthy of her sister. Pauline was very happy about her sister's arrival. Margot, who has always been mean, seems to have brought a lot of trouble to the Pauline family. Even Pauline's daughter didn't like this aunt. Margot doesn't want her son to have a relationship with her lover Dick's daughter. She loves her son deeply. But she was torn between her husband and Dick, unable to choose. Margot discovered the ulterior secret between Malcolm and Dick's daughter, and she wanted to tell her sister about it. Pauline also hated Margot for writing her life experience into a novel, and the two quarreled constantly. At this time, Pauline learned from her boyfriend about his cheating, and Margot decided to go back to New York with her. Both sisters knew that they loved each other...
