Synopsis of hello sorrow

The story takes place in the picturesque French countryside, where Cecil (Jean Seberg) lives with his father Raymond (David Niven). The fresh pastoral scenery and carefree life made Cecil grow into an unruly girl. She hated the routine life and yearned for freedom and romance. Raymond got acquainted with a beautiful woman named Anna (Deborah Kerr), and the two quickly got close, but Cecil did not like this woman who might become his stepmother because of Anna's character It seemed too conservative and rigorous for her, so Cecil found his father's ex-girlfriend Elsa (Mylène Demongeot), and planned to let her interfere with the marriage of Huang Raymond and Anna, but... Unexpectedly, his seemingly flawless plot eventually led to tragedy.
