Synopsis of The V.I.P.s

The airport version of "Grandhotel" produced in the UK ("Grand Hotel", a 1932 American film, which won the 5th Academy Award for Best Picture), describes how a heavy fog caused delays in the takeoff and landing of flights at London Airport. As a result, the world's upper class people have undergone major personal changes. In addition to the enviable super couple Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, there were also big stars at the time such as Louis Jourdan, Margaret Rutherford, Orson Welles, Maggie Smith, etc. Every character in the film is surprisingly beautiful and wealthy. Director Anthony Asquith also worked hard to create a noble atmosphere for VIPs, even ignoring the in-depth description of the story. The dramatic effect is more dramatic than quality. The audience may as well regard it as a large-scale "celebrity" "Xing Ding Lu" to enjoy. Margaret Rutherford won the 36th Academy Award for Supporting Actress and the 1964 Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress for this film.
