Synopsis of Melinda and Melinda

We discuss how to live our lives every day and how to make ourselves happier. The director of this film is also discussing it. A group of friends were discussing how to face life in a tavern. They condensed all attitudes into two extremes, crying or laughing. They hypothesized the story of a woman named Melinda (played by Radha Mitchell): Melinda had a happy family, a pair of children. But she had an affair and was sued for divorce by her husband, and her children were awarded to her husband. When she was full of longing and ready to start a new life with her lover, her lover also abandoned her. The angry Melinda killed her lover, but was found to have schizophrenia by the court and was acquitted. However, she even lost the right to visit her children. Melinda's story continues, but it is told again by two friends representing different attitudes...
