# Synopsis of The Host

Sometime in the future, mysterious aliens invade the earth in large numbers. There is no destruction or war. They occupy human bodies in a special way and transform this earth, which has been exhausted by human civilization, into a seemingly peaceful and happy paradise. However, there are still a few people who are unwilling to give up their independent personality and rich emotions and memories, and they are making the final resistance to this. The beautiful girl Melanie Stead (played by Saoirse Ronan) resists to death, but still cannot avoid the fate of being corrupted. The new wanderer took over her body, but Melanie's consciousness did not disappear.
