Synopsis of Year One

The story takes place a long time ago, when Chad (played by Jack Black) and Al (played by Michael Cera) were hunters in a primitive tribe. The two were expelled for not abiding by the rules of the tribe, so they accompanied each other and embarked on a journey away from the group. Along the way they met a series of biblical figures such as Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, and Abraham, and witnessed a series of biblical stories taking place. Finally, they came to the legendary city of sin, Sodom. However, this place seemed like paradise to them, so this place was destined to be the end of their journey...
