Synopsis of The Help

In the 1960s, in Mississippi, the black servant Abilene (Viola Davis) diligently took care of the hostess's daughter, who only had sex with her best friend due to postpartum depression. Skeeter (Emma Stone), a graduate of the University of Mississippi, works in a newspaper office as a housewife's mailbox, and begins her life as a black servant.
