Synopsis of The Time Machine

At the end of the 19th century, Alexander Hartdegen (Guy Pearce) invented a time machine that could take him 800,000 years into the future. There, he discovered that humans have evolved into two races: the Eloi and the Morlocks... H.G. Wells, the legendary science fiction writer who spanned the 19th and 20th centuries, wrote this classic novel "The Time Machine". In his day, he was called "the man who could see the future."
