Synopsis of Anand

Anand (Rajesh Khanna), a terminal cancer patient, lives with a clear conscience. Unlike other depressed and desperate patients, he enjoys every moment of his remaining life. His doctor Bhaskar (played by Amitabh Bachchan), affectionately called Mr. Moshai, has amazing spiritual power and makes people around him understand the meaning of life in his own way. However, Bhaskar was unable to do anything about Anand's illness... "Anand" successfully portrays a man who bravely faces death. This is a touching movie.
