Synopsis of The Hotel New Hampshire

Wayne Berry, a student at Harvard University, met a girl named Mary and fell in love with her while working at a resort "New Hampshire Hotel" during vacation. An eccentric old man named Fred gave Wayne his pet bear, told him to marry Mary, and then returned to his hometown of Vienna. Wayne listened to his words and formed a family with Mary. After the war, Wayne missed the days when he met Mary very much, so they returned to the hotel together, but were disappointed to find that the bustling hotel had been completely deserted. His pet bear was beaten to death by a local boy, which made him heartbroken. Absolutely. They returned home and continued to live their lives and add children, but the dream of the "New Hampshire Hotel" never left Wayne's mind. The family moved to Vienna and opened a new "New Hampshire Hotel". Afterwards, Mary and one of their children died in a plane crash, but Wayne remained undeterred and led the family to continue running the hotel and foiled a plot to bomb the Vienna Opera House.
