The first movie version of "Neon Genesis Evangelion". It is divided into two parts: "DEATH Chapter (Death Chapter)" and "REBIRTH Chapter (Rebirth Chapter)". The "Death Chapter" is based on the contents of episodes 1 to 24 of the original TV version of the animation, and has been re-edited into a summary chapter.
