Synopsis of The Bow

There are two fishing boats on the endless sea. The owner is an old man who is over 60 years old (played by Quan Yiwan). He relies on the two boats to make a living. People on land come here to fish or watch the scenery. The old man lives with a young girl (played by Han Yeyun). She was picked up by the old man on the shore 10 years ago. The girl has never been on land since then. The old man waits until the girl turns 17 before marrying her. The men who came to fish often wanted to take advantage of the girls. In order to protect the girls, the old man had to use sharp arrows to warn them. One day, a college student (Seo Ji-seok) who came fishing with his father was attracted by a mysterious girl on the boat. The old man felt that something was wrong, so he monitored the girl every day and did not allow her to get close to the college students. The 16-year-old girl gradually became curious about the outside world. When the college student learned that the girl was going to marry an old man, he decided to take the girl and escape to the land...
